Having been a command executive with the Miami-Dade Police Department for the past 36 years, Jerry brings with him the experience and proven ability as a people manager and to manage and direct major project development. Additionally, as the co-founder and currently International Chairman of the Board of Youth Crime Watch of America, a non profit 501 (c)(3) and this nation's premiere youth-led crime prevention and leadership organization with programs throughout the United States and in over 25 countries, he brings an understanding of this nation’s youth. With advanced educational degrees from the University of Memphis, Kansas State University and the University of Louisville, his educational experience has prepared him for a variety of areas ranging from people to organizational development.
Over the years, Jorge A. Carnero has amassed a variety of talents. As a professional law enforcement manager, to a nationally ranked drag racing driver, he leads the Power Trip Motorsports program. As an entrepreneur with experience and formal education in economics and finance, he brings a well rounded background in his dual role as Director of Motorsports. Jorge is married with four children.
Robert Perez recently joined our board in January 2008. He is a graduate from Florida State University and received his MBA and MHA from Florida Atlantic University. He has a diverse background ranging from livestock import and exportation, IT networking, healthcare administration and sales. Robert is an avid outdoorsman and loves drinking Power Trip Original to get him up and going for his adventures.
Michael Zimmerman has served clients for over 30 years in the south Florida community. He is actively licensed as a Certified Public Accountant, mortgage broker, securities broker - series 7, Supreme Court Certified, family and circuit court mediator and is licensed to sell insurance including life, health and variable annuities.
He graduated from the University of West Florida with a Bachelor’s in Arts Degree in Accounting in 1970 and became a CPA in 1976. He started his career as a staff accountant with Ernst and Whinney (formerly Ernst and Ernst), then moved on to become Assistant Treasurer and Corporate Secretary of All-Tech Industries, Inc. After six additional years, he went out on his own to start an accounting firm. Mr. Zimmerman also serves on the board of directors for various companies. Mr. Zimmerman has been happily married for over 37 years and has two children and one grandchild. He is an avid golfer and thoroughly enjoys working with people. No challenge is two large for him to tackle.
